Job Summary and Qualifications

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing various imaging procedures as ordered by physicians. The role involves ensuring quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment on a daily basis.

What you will do in this role:

1. Perform a variety of imaging procedures as ordered.
2. Ensure quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic setting.
3. Perform surgical and portable exams as needed.
4. Follow physician orders accurately, document procedures in Meditech, and verify images in PACS.
5. Maintain proper quality control procedures and document patient history, including lab values.

What qualifications you will need:

1. Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
2. ARDMS registration or ability to acquire within 6 months.
3. Current BLS certification.
