Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures, for the purpose of detecting pathology, evaluating function, or as a means of assisting in the provision of treatment. Operates all the equipmentutilized within the department, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate
• RDMS OB/GYN Specialty, or RDMS Abdomen Specialty

We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU.
