Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs ultrasound procedures accurately and timely, assists with patient transport, performs clerical functions, and provides preliminary exam interpretations. Works weekends, holidays, and on-call as required. Demonstrates understanding of departmental equipment, diagnoses basic malfunctions, trains staff, and communicates effectively. Must perform routine and invasive procedures, work with patients of all ages, and utilize equipment proficiently.

Qualifications include:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (obtained within 30 days of employment)
• Registered through ARDMS as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program
