Huntington-Hill Imaging Center in Pasadena, CA is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The role involves performing ultrasound exams, ensuring image quality, and collaborating with Radiologists to support accurate diagnoses.

The position is full-time with a variable schedule (7am-4pm and 10am-7pm, including weekend rotation). Compensation ranges from $32 to $42 per hour, with benefits and career growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Two years of ultrasound experience preferred.
• RDMS certification required.
• Fully licensed to perform ultrasound exams with up-to-date credentialing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for interventional studies and trains staff in ultrasound procedures and techniques.
• Assists in patient scheduling and facilitates efficient workflow within ultrasound area.
• Reviews requisitions for ultrasound imaging procedures and determines appropriateness of procedures.
• Selects equipment and technical factors to identify pathologic and normal anatomy.
• Operates ultrasound equipment for all dynamic ultrasound procedures with minimal supervision.
• Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations and records data.
• Schedules and coordinates tests and maintains operational logs.
• Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies as needed.
