Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Registration with ARDMS or RDMS is required.
• Proficient in real-time imaging, color flow, Doppler, transvaginal, biopsies, and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic procedures using appropriate transducers and scanning sequences to assist diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure technical quality and accuracy of ultrasound examinations per ACR standards and FDA QC requirements.
• Input data into EMR, RIS and PACS; transfer annotated images correctly for interpretation.
• Organize images and data for physician review and provide information to support interpretation.
