Job summary

Covenant Jobs is seeking an ultrasound technician to perform ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses at Covenant Medical Group in Lubbock, TX. Under supervision, you will operate ultrasound equipment and capture images for interpretation.

Required qualifications include formal coursework in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent, BLS through American Heart Association at hire, licensure in New Mexico if practicing there, and at least 1 year of ultrasonography

Qualifications

• Coursework/Training Course study in diagnostic ultrasound. Or equivalent education/experience
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: New Mexico Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program License - if practicing within this state
• 1 year Experience as an Ultrasonographer.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Supervisor, Manager or Director, perform ultrasound procedures to assist the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease.
