Job summary

Covenant Health in Texas is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Under supervision of the Diagnostic Supervisor, Manager or Director, you will operate ultrasound equipment with focus on patient comfort and safety.

Requirements include diagnostic ultrasound coursework or equivalent, BLS, NM license if practicing there, and at least 1 year of ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Coursework/training in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent education/experience.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: NM Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program License if practicing in NM.
• 1 year of experience as an ultrasound sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with the medical team to support clinical decisions.
