Qualifications

• Education in Ultrasound or equivalent experience is essential.
• Basic Life Support and Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credentials required.

Summary:

Performs diagnostic sonographic procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical tasks, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation, and other related duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Essential: Education information in comments.
• Education equivalent experience: Required - Technical - Ultrasound; or - Associates - Ultrasound.

Credentials:

• Essential: Basic Life Support, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, ARRT Radiography.
• Credential equivalent experience: Required - BLS (Basic Life Support); Required - RDMS (Sonography) within 1 year; Required - AART (Radiologic Technologists).

Experience:

• Nonessential: Hospital-related, Ultrasound.
