Job summary

HCA Healthcare's MSO-Maternal Fetal Md-Tomball is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality perinatal care. The role involves scheduling procedures, performing ultrasound exams, imaging, and maintaining equipment, on a Monday–Friday day shift with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of ultrasound experience, ARDMS certification, and a current ARDMS license; the organization offers comprehensive benefits

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer is required.
• Must be certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance to state regulations.
• Current ARDMS license is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule ultrasonic diagnostic procedures and prepare patients for procedures.
• Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures including positioning patients and selecting the transducer.
• Manage processing and documentation including developing film, making hard copy images, documenting tests, and ensuring records are correct.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and notify management of faulty equipment.

Seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for our practice who provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:

• You will schedule ultrasonic diagnostic procedures and prepare patients for what to expect and explaining procedures
• You will perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures including positioning patients and selecting the appropriate transducer
• You manage processing and documentation including developing film, making hard copy images, documenting tests, and ensuring department records, reports and files are correct
• You will maintain ultrasound equipment and notify management of faulty equipment

What Qualifications you will need:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer is required
• Must be certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance to state regulations
• Current ARDMS license is required
