Job summary

The Gig Ultrasound Technologist at Mercy Health will operate ultrasound imaging equipment and software to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role requires proficiency in imaging, patient safety, and delivering high-quality results while maintaining compassionate care.

This Per Diem/PRN position involves floating between Mercy facilities in the St. Louis area, with flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours.
• Certification/registrations: ARDMS OR ARRT OR CCI within the work area; Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and software for ultrasound imaging.
• Maintain patient safety and high-quality imaging standards.
• Collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
• Float between Mercy facilities.

Education
