Job summary

Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for the Ultrasound Unit. This per diem role features 12-hour day shifts and requires ARDMS certification and BLS, with preference for 1 year of sonography experience.

Under the Radiologist/Cardiologist and Supervisor guidance, you will perform high-frequency ultrasound exams, generate and assess images, and coordinate exams while complying with applicable standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• National Certification from ARDMS is required at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required at hire.
• 1 year experience in Sonography is preferred.
• Per diem schedule with 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations and produce and evaluate images for medical diagnosis.
• Coordinate exams and manage related clerical tasks under Radiologist/Cardiologist supervision.
• Adhere to Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards in all procedures.
