Job summary

Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to join the Ultrasound Unit. This per diem role works 12-hour day shifts and involves performing ultrasound exams with independence and clinical judgment.

Under the direction of the Radiologist and Supervisor, Sonography, you will produce and evaluate images for medical diagnosis, comply with federal/state/Joint Commission standards, and handle related clerical tasks to coordinate exams.

Qualifications

• National Certification from ARDMS is required at hire.
• BLS from American Heart Association is required at hire.
• 1 year experience in Sonography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations and produce images for diagnosis.
• Comply with Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards.
• Coordinate exams and related clerical tasks.
