Job Description

Ultrasound Techs are responsible for the following:

• Performs echocardiography studies according to departmental protocols.
• Assists with TEE studies in the department, at bedside, or in the operating room.
• Maintains a work environment that is clean, orderly, and safe for patients and others.
  
  

Under the supervision of a Radiologist, Ultrasound Techs will operate cardiac ultrasound imaging equipment in order to produce images of the heart for diagnostic purposes.

Qualifications For This Position Include

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Six (6) months to one (1) year of post registry preferred
• RDMS (ARDMS) certification
