Job summary

John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Indio, part of Desert Care Network, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound, monitor patients, assist radiologists with invasive exams, and contribute to QA/QI studies. The role requires RDMS and RVT credentials, 1 year hospital experience, and ability to work varied shifts including weekends and on-call.

• RDMS certification.
• RVT credential.

• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures with independent judgment.
• Monitors patient during procedures and assists radiologist with invasive exams.
• Keeps accurate records of ultrasound patients and QA/QI studies.
• Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment and notifies supervisor of repairs.
• Assists in building relationships with physicians and staff.
