Primary Responsibilities:

• Produces high quality diagnostic ultrasound with the ability to recognize visualized anatomy and pathology following established protocols and ordered examination
• Explains procedures and observes patients to ensure safety, comfort and confidentiality during scan, keeps patient physically covered whenever possible
• Evaluates images for technical quality
• Maintains the cleanliness of the ultrasound machine, transducers and associated minor equipment in accordance with the infection control policies and procedures
• Consistently uses and reinforces proper body mechanics and appropriate personal protection equipment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• Graduation from an ultrasound program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP)
• Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the specialty areas of Abdomen and OB/GYN ultrasound, or registry eligible

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $40.00 - $60.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
