Job summary

Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for per diem coverage within the Ultrasound Department. The role involves coordinating and performing ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians and supporting the Radiology team.

Under supervision of Ultrasound Supervisor/Lead, you will assist radiologists with technical factors, work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and have opportunities to gain valuable experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a general ultrasound technologist required.
• New graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform ultrasound procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Provide assistance to Radiologist/physicians with technical factors involved in procedures.
• Collaborate with a dynamic Radiology team to support patient care.

Job Summary

Under general supervision and direction of the Ultrasound Supervisor/Lead, the candidate will be responsible for the coordination and performance of ultrasound procedures as ordered by the physician. They will provide assistance to the Radiologist/physicians as requested with the technical factors involved in such ordered procedures. The candidate will work with a dynamic team of Radiologists to enrich the candidates knowledge while gaining valuable work experience in a supportive, fast-paced, professional, and collaborative environment.

Job Qualifications

• Prior experience as a general ultrasound technologist required. New graduates will be considered.

• ARDMS required
• SPI Certification and ARDMS eligibility will be considered

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
