The South Bend Clinic is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to support imaging services at 211 N Eddy Street, South Bend, IN. You will select transducers, capture high-quality images, and communicate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretations.

• Proficient in abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular and small parts scanning.
• Must be able to work with diverse patient ages and maintain quality imaging.
• Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and radiologists.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and select proper transducer and machine settings.
• Record pertinent clinical information from referring physicians.
• Interview patient for medical history and relay info to Radiologist.
• Produce studies according to Ultrasound Department protocol.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and accessories in good repair.
• Notify service engineers or manager of equipment issues.
• Use ultrasound equipment safely and maintain a clean environment.
• Prepare films, reports and documentation for interpretation.
