Qualifications

• Certified radiologic technologist with ARDMS or ARRT (S) required.
• Abdomen AB or OB/GYN registry required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in performing invasive procedures.
• Evaluates exam quality and develops improved techniques for efficiency.
• Supports Patient-Centered Care by treating every staff member as a caregiver.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to the Assistant Director, Lead Sonographer or Engineer.
• Operates the Radiology computer system, entering and charging exams and supplies.
• Keeps assigned work area neat and stocked.
• Adheres to departmental rules and regulations in a professional manner.
