Job summary

Rhode Island Medical Imaging is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technologist for our Wakefield, RI site. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound studies with a focus on Abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts and vascular procedures.

You will greet patients, obtain medical histories, and ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to ALARA principles and safety standards. Qualified candidates have 1 year of training or experience, ARDMS registration or eligibility, and RVT certification where

Qualifications

• One year of formal training in an accredited School of Ultrasound or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts and vascular ultrasound required.
• Must maintain CME requirements and ARDMS certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ultrasound images and diagnostic information.
• Greet patients, collect history, and provide procedure instructions.
• Operate ultrasound equipment according to established procedures and ALARA principles.
• Perform quality control and report equipment concerns promptly.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional patient care.
