Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center is seeking a Part-Time Ultrasound Technologist to perform abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts and vascular studies and assist in interpretation. Requires AS degree, board eligibility, and ARDMS/CCI registration within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities include patient history assessment, image acquisition, documentation, equipment care, and training of students. 20 hours per week, with a $35.43 starting pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year of hire.
• RDMS and RVU registrations must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Board eligibility required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts and vascular.
• Assist staff physicians and document exams accurately.
• Maintain equipment and follow hospital policies/protocols.
• Generate high-quality images and support interpretation.
• Train students and liaise with clinical programs.

Performance of abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts and vascular required.*Must be Board Eligible upon hire, and ARDMS or CCI registered within 1 year of hire.**Department: Ultrasound**Hours: Part-Time, 20 hours a week required**Required: AS degree, Registered Vascular Sonographer within 1 year of hire, Registered Diagnostic sonographer within one year of hire (ARDMS or CCI), Must be Board Eligible upon hire.**Pay: based on experience, starting at $35.43**Sign on bonus $5,000***Responsibilities**Assesses patient history and symptoms relative to the level of study being performed., Assists staff physicians as needed., Follows proper policy and protocol for procedures as outlined in protocol guides and hospital policy., Maintains equipment by routine cleaning and operations checks., Performs general US exams including but not limited to: abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, breast, and specialty procedures ( biopsy, aspiration, etc,), Performs vascular examinations including, but not limited to: venous duplex, venous mapping, carotid duplex and arterial doppler., Prepares written documentation related to the ultrasound exam in an accurate and timely fashion and in accordance with established policies and procedures., Produces high quality ultrasound images and provides assistance in their interpretation., Provides training to ensure competency of students., Sends images for interpretation in accordance with department procedures., Serves as liaison between the hospital and clinical training programs from various schools.**Requirements**Associate's Degree (Required)BLS or CPR certification (within 90 days of hire) - Sarah Bush Lincoln, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Within 1 year of Hire) - ARDMS or CCI, Registered Vascular Sonographer (Within 1 year of Hire) - ARDMS or CCI**Compensation**Estimated Compensation Range$35.43 - $54.92Pay based on experience
