Job summary

Austin Radiological Association (ARA Diagnostic Imaging) is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform ultrasound procedures, ensure image quality, and support radiologists in procedures within outpatient imaging centers across the Austin market. Responsibilities include quality control, patient preparation, and collaboration with the radiology team.

CPR certification and ARDMS registry are required or pursued within the first year of employment; Radiology Partners resources support

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ultrasound technology principles and procedures.
• Ability to independently conduct routine and specialized radiologic tests.
• Analytical skills to assess results and ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform and maintain monthly quality control on ultrasound systems as required by credentialing bodies.
• Perform ultrasound procedures as prescribed by physicians and ensure image quality and safety.
• Assist radiologists in image-guided procedures and prepare patients for procedures.
