Job summary

South Sunflower County Hospital is seeking a Staff Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonography and related imaging procedures. The role requires ARRT registration and a Mississippi radiography license, with the ability to perform x-ray and CT procedures.

You will identify areas of concern, maintain equipment, and generate reports while coordinating outpatient scheduling in Radiology. The position includes after-hours call and a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in sonography from a CAAHEP-accredited program.
• ARRT registration and Mississippi radiography license.
• Ability to perform x-ray and CT procedures.

Responsibilities

• Use sonographic equipment to identify areas of concern.
• Report abnormalities requiring immediate attention.
• Maintain sonography equipment and report malfunctions.
• Conduct scan tests and write reports based on results.
• Schedule outpatient procedures for Radiology.
• Manage several patients and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Work under minimal supervision and cooperate with team members.
• Take call for emergency procedures after working hours.
