Job summary

Providence caregivers are dedicated to patient-focused, whole-person care. The Ultrasound Technologist at St. Joseph Hospital-Orange will perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures under supervision, while also handling related duties to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements include a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program and 5 years in a high-volume acute care setting, ARDMS certification, and BLS. OB/MFM experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or graduate of a diagnostic medical sonography or ultrasound program, plus 5 years experience in a high volume acute care setting.
• National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 6 months MATERNAL FETAL TESTING: Acute 2nd and 3rd trimester OB experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures as requested.
• Assist with clerical, transportation, training and cleaning duties as needed to support patient care.
• Uphold hospital values while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
