Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join the Imaging department in Florham Park, NJ. The role involves performing ultrasound exams, documenting patient history, and coordinating with Radiologists to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

The ideal candidate has ARDMS certification in OB/GYN or AB, BLS, and completed an accredited Sonography program, with at least 2 years of outpatient or hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in ultrasound (outpatient and/or hospital setting preferred).
• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN or AB is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduated from an accredited Sonography program.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive ultrasound services and prepares and documents patient history.
• Follows approved ultrasound protocols and collaborates with Radiologists.
• Ensures exam room cleanliness and infection control.
• Operates and adjusts ultrasound equipment and performs quality control checks.
• Travels to satellite locations as needed.
