Job summary

Providence Swedish in Seattle is seeking a diagnostic medical sonographer to perform ultrasound exams and support physicians as needed. This role requires completion of an accredited ultrasound program, ARDMS registry eligibility, and BLS certification upon hire.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of Ultrasound Tech experience and be ready to join a team focused on delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound training program.
  • Eligibility to take ARDMS registry examination.
  • Within 1 year of hire National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 2 years Ultrasound Tech experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams under general supervision.
  • Assist physicians as required during exams.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

  • 2 years Ultrasound Tech experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
