Job summary

Providence Swedish Ballard is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform OB/GYN, abdominal and small parts exams and assist radiologists during invasive procedures. You will base clinical judgments on information from referring physicians, medical records, patient interviews and assessments.

This per-diem role at Swedish Ballard emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered care. Requires ARDMS eligibility and BLS certification; ultrasound training and 1 year of experience are preferred.

• Successful completion of Ultrasound training program.
• Eligibility to take ARDMS registry examination.
• 1 year of ultrasound experience or internship.
• Current BLS certification.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of Ultrasound training program --- Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year of experience as an ultrasound technologist or ultrasound intern
