Responsibilities

• Document findings in patient records and communicate results to radiologists and clinicians.
• Maintain equipment, follow safety and infection control standards, provide patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnosis.

Role Description

The Ultrasound Technologist is a full-time, on-site role located in Denver, CO. This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including general, obstetric, and vascular studies, in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, capturing and evaluating images, and documenting findings in the patient record. The technologist collaborates with radiologists, physicians, and other clinical staff to support accurate diagnosis and timely patient care. Additional duties include maintaining equipment, following safety and infection control standards, and providing patient-centered, culturally sensitive care.

Qualifications

• Certification or eligibility with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in relevant imaging disciplines.
• Certification or eligibility with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), with focus on general, obstetric, or specialty sonography.
• Knowledge of Radiology principles and diagnostic imaging practices, including safe operation of ultrasound and related equipment.
• Experience or training in Vascular ultrasound procedures and related vascular anatomy and pathology.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to follow clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced hospital environment, including participation in variable shifts, weekends, or on-call as needed.
