Qualifications

• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plans and performs imaging procedures to produce sonographic images for diagnosis or treatment.
• Maintains professional and technical competencies per organization and licensing bodies.
• Reviews physician requests and clarifies questions before performing the study.
• Produces images of optimal quality.
• Maintains confidentiality of Protected Health Information.
• Assesses patient comfort and needs during imaging.
• Educates patients about sonographic procedures and answers questions.
