Summary: Full Time, 8pm-6:30am, Monday - Thursday. Has developed the knowledge to perform quality routine and specialized ultrasound procedures, recognizing patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures.

Required Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma.

Recommended Education: Bachelor's Degree.

Required Work Experience: 2 years of direct experience.

Recommended Work Experience: Pediatric experience.

Required Certifications: One of the following: RDMS, PS - American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Recommended Certifications: RDMS, AB, OB/GYN, RVT, VT - American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), RT (S) or RT (VS) - American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic exams as directed by Radiologist.
• Recognize examination findings requiring immediate response and notify radiologist.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.
• Explain procedures to patients and families effectively.
• Maintain proper work area and emergency supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
