Job summary

Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT is seeking a Journeyman Registered Ultrasonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound (general and vascular) with minimal supervision within the Diagnostic Imaging department.

The role requires effective communication with patients, staff, radiologists, providers, and leadership to uphold high-quality patient care and support the Core Leader in achieving department goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE) or equivalent education/experience.
• National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
• National Registered Technologist - Sonography.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic medical sonograms, both general and vascular, with minimal supervision.
• Involve day-to-day Ultrasound Department operations in Diagnostic Imaging.
• Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, lead sonographer, manager, Radiologists, providers, and staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Assist the Core Leader in meeting department goals and objectives.

Education

Ultrasound program accredited by JRCRTE or equivalent education/experience

National Certification from ARDMS or National Registered Technologist - Sonography

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
