Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a clinical imaging technologist to perform general ultrasound and vascular imaging, following department policy and maintaining patient safety and comfort.

You will assist the radiologist, communicate effectively with patients and staff, and help maintain a clean, safe environment while staying current through continuing education. This role may require taking call in some areas after competency requirements are met.

Qualifications

• ARRT Licensure or ADRMS registered.
• CPR certification.
• Expected to take call in any area after the completions of competency requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical imaging procedures including general ultrasound and vascular imaging as qualified.
• Assist radiologist and attending physician; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain department operations, equipment care, and a clean, safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff; stay current with professional development.
