Job summary

A leading medical practice is seeking a Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of ultrasound studies, including General, Vascular, and Women’s Imaging. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include performing exams, reviewing patient requests, and maintaining equipment. This role offers flexible scheduling across multiple locations in New Jersey.

Qualifications

AMI is seeking Per Diem Ultrasound Technologists to join the team!

At AMI, our technologists perform a variety of Ultrasound studies, including General, Vascular, and Women’s Imaging. Our Technologists are skilled, have excellent customer relations experience, and are team players. They work closely with Radiologists to ensure high-quality patient care.

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Performing all requested ultrasonographic exams in accordance with established policy and hours of availability;
• Reviewing patient requests for diagnostic procedures regarding anatomical parts and clinical history;
• Instructing patients regarding procedures while respecting patient privacy;
• Ensuring ultrasound equipment is in excellent operational condition following Quality Control procedures; and
• Performing other duties as required and assigned.
  
  

Coverage opportunities are available in the AMI @ Inspira offices across Vineland, Bridgeton, Sicklerville, Mullica Hill, Woolwich, and Deptford, primarily on weekdays. Scheduling depends on your availability and department needs, with shifts including weekday days and some evenings.

The Ideal Candidate Has The Following Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, capable of performing all aspects of Sonography including General, Vascular, Breast, and procedures;
• ARDMS Registered;
• CPR/BLS Certification from AHA or Red Cross required prior to employment;
• Intermediate computer skills;
• Knowledge of all Ultrasound operations and diagnostic imaging equipment;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
• Ability to produce high-quality images and document accurately;
• Strong professionalism, teamwork, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills;
• Friendly, cheerful disposition and a strong work ethic.
