Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Bartlett seeks a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services. This role involves working under minimal supervision to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment across all age groups. Ideal candidates will have completed a program in Diagnostic Sonography and be registered with ARDMS or ARRT.

Qualifications

  • Must be registered with ARDMS or ARRT within 24 months of graduation.
  • BLS certified.
  • Preferred 1-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Produces high quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
  • Assists with amnio procedure biopsies.
  • Processes and files films as needed.

Ultrasound Technologist Full Time Days Position Summary

Schedule: Sunday, Mon, Tues 7A-7PM

Under minimal supervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. May be multi-credentialed in sonography. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography

Preferred: Associates degree

Experience

Certification
