Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform ultrasound examinations under the direction of our Radiologist and Department Director. The role includes taking responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required.

Qualified candidates will be ARRT-registered, licensed in Montana, and able to pass a background check and drug screen. Our facility emphasizes compassionate care in a community hospital setting with comprehensive imaging services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered ARRT technologist.
• Licensed radiologic technologist in Montana.

About the role

Under the direction of the Radiologist and Department Director, performs ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative. Assumes responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology accredited by the ARRT.
• Registered technologist by the ARRT.
• Required to be licensed technologist by the State of Montana and the Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists.
• Knowledge relative to age of patients served.
• Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.
