Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support image processing for PACS. The role requires proficiency with equipment setup, patient positioning and recording of study data.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of acute-care ultrasound experience, ARDMS/ARRT certification within 90 days, and current BCLS. This temporary assignment spans 12 weeks with day or night shifts available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience as a Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program or current certification within 90 days of hire.
• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of previous ultrasound experience required.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording.
• The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
