Job summary

Cullman Regional Colon & Gastro Clinic in Cullman, AL is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform comprehensive ultrasound exams and ensure quality images for interpretation. You will efficiently perform abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, breast and other exams, verify images in PACS, and help with intraoperative procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of ultrasonography or ARRT registered.
• On-the-job training under supervision for ultrasound technologists.
• Organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Verify correct images and worksheets in PACS for interpretation.
• Position patients and acquire diagnostic ultrasound images.
• Maintain accurate patient data and assist physicians as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and proper handling during exams.
• Assist with intraoperative procedures when required.
