Job summary

Roshal Imaging Services LLC is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Sarasota, FL for PRN shifts. You will perform ultrasound studies in an ER environment at various facilities, maintaining professionalism, safety, and accurate records.

The role requires ARDMS RDMS certification, BLS/CPR, a valid driver's license, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Candidates should have 1+ year of post-graduate ultrasound experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check.
• Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures.
• Ability to use mobile phone devices & applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies in accordance with accepted protocols.
• Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly and professionally to all work-related calls received.
• Contact the assigned facility with estimated arrival time and arrive at the facility within prescribed timeframe.
• Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
• Maintain work areas in compliance with client’s standards.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and files, as directed.
• Document work processes, as required.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
