Job summary

Community Medical Centers in Fresno, California is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our radiology team. The position is 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour evening shift, and is classified as Staff employment at a busy Level I regional center.

You will perform imaging and positioning, maintain accurate records, and provide clinical oversight to students while collaborating with radiologists and cardiologists.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in diagnostic medical sonography.
• Certification via ARDMS/ARRT/CCI or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging and positioning techniques based on anatomy and exam specifications.
• Work with ultrasound supervisors, radiologists and cardiologists as part of a diagnostic team.
• Produce 2D sonographic recordings of internal organs for accurate diagnoses.
• Accurately transferring images following imaging procedures.
• Provide guidance and clinical oversight to sonography students.
