Job summary

SCR St. Claire Medical Center, Inc. is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform comprehensive imaging across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

You will conduct abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, and small parts exams, assist with ultrasound-guided procedures, and maintain current credentials to meet accreditation standards. You will ensure accurate documentation, verify orders, and adapt interactions with diverse patients while upholding safety and infection control

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program with a high school diploma.
• 0–2 years in healthcare, clinical setting preferred.
• Current BLS and ARDMS or CCI certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound exams (abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, small parts).
• Assists with ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Maintains equipment and documentation, ensures safety and infection control.
• Reviews orders, verifies patient identity, and documents clinical history.
• Explains procedures to patients and families and provides support.
