Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound examinations under physician direction, ensuring accurate identification of abnormalities and high-quality imaging for patient diagnosis.

Full-time 40 hours, 4x10s on weekdays with call and holiday coverage, at St. Vincent Regional Hospital. The role involves pediatric to geriatric exams per ACR guidelines and strict documentation and safety practices.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registry or ARDMS Registry; ARDMS registry must include one registry beyond physics (OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, vascular)
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Preferred qualifications include Ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper patient identification, verifies orders, and prepares patients for exams.
• Uses proper imaging techniques to deliver timely, safe, and high-quality diagnostic exams.
• Performs exams on patients across all ages following ACR guidelines and department protocol.
• Completes and annotates exams with maximum diagnostic information in a timely manner.
• Documents events for quality, maintains QC program for ACR, and reports equipment issues.
