Job summary

HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital in Walterboro, SC, is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonography across multiple body areas, including OB, pelvic, vascular, and abdominal exams. You will document exams, take vital signs, and ensure supplies between patients.

Qualifications include an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, BLS within 30 days, RVT within 1 year, and RDMS or ARRT-S within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (ARRT-S) Sonography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures on all parts of the body, including common exams such as Limited OB, pelvic, head/neck, venous and arterial assessments.
• Complete patient history, document exam results, record vital signs, and handle required paperwork.
• Restock exam rooms with needed supplies between patients.
