Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hospital or clinic experience in ultrasound.
• BLS Certified and obtain at least (1) registry within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sonography procedures independently.
• Assist in scheduling patients for ultrasound studies.
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions.

Skills

Knowledge of GE equipment

Knowledge of PACS system

Ability to follow ultrasound guidelines

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography
