Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist at The Jewish Hospital to perform ultrasound procedures and contribute to patient care with compassion and accuracy. Under Radiology leadership, you will learn to scan various modalities and support quality initiatives.

Responsibilities include obtaining diagnostic images, documenting findings, and assisting in education of students and new staff while maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout exams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ultrasonography program and ARRT/ARDMS eligible.
• 1 year experience as an Ultrasound Tech preferred.
• Advanced modality registration preferred or must obtain within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and related techniques as requested by a licensed practitioner.
• Obtain and record images, patient history and consent; ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Document findings and communicate impressions to physicians.
• Participate in performance improvement and staff education.
