Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's Degree (Required).
• Must have ARDMS certification; also ARRT and RDMS certifications preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• 1–2 years ultrasound training/experience; clinical training acceptable.
• Must have passed abdominal or OB/GYN and physics/instrumentation exams.

Responsibilities

• Perform various ultrasound examinations and interpret findings.
• Evaluate normal vs abnormal results in correlation with patient history.
• Provide preliminary ultrasound results to attending physicians.
• Teach imaging students and residents in scanning methods.
• Maintain equipment and stock supplies; ensure quality control.
