Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• 1 year as Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
• BLS Certification required upon hire.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic Ultrasound examinations.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills for ultrasound services across age groups (adult, geriatric, pediatric).
• Adjusts protocols as necessary and communicates patient-specific instructions.
• Recognizes signs and symptoms of abuse or neglect in patients.
• Meets hospital continuing education requirements through participation in educational programs and events.
