Job summary

Lumexa Outpatient Imaging in Asheville, NC is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to join our imaging team. The role offers daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with no on-call or holiday shifts required.

Qualified candidates hold current ARRT certification and have completed an approved Radiologic Technology program. Excellent patient communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work calmly in a busy clinical setting are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current, valid ARRT certification in your modality.
• Graduate of approved program for Radiological Technology.
• Basic proficiency with computer monitors, keyboard and mouse for scanning, RIS and PACS use.
• Organized, detail oriented, observant.
• Calm and effective communicator.
• Helpful, patient and sympathetic.

Responsibilities

• Lifting, moving, positioning and assisting patients on/off examination table.
• Walking 25% of shift, standing 50% of shift, sitting 25% of shift.
