Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for a StaffFlex contract. Must have RVT and prefer two years of experience. 13 weeks contract with day shift; includes benefits and on-call coverage.

Performs routine and complex imaging, maintains equipment, and ensures safe, accurate studies with proper documentation. Requires an Associate’s degree in a related field, plus specific ARDMS/CCI/ACS credentials and BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational schooling in a related field required.
• BLS CPR certification and multiple ARDMS/CCI/ACS type credentials required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex ultrasound imaging studies and related procedures.
• Sets up and adjusts imaging equipment and maneuvers transducers for exams.
• Maintains safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Maintains patient records and pre-/post-treatment evaluations.
• Manages supply inventory and aids ICAEL quality measures.

Fri, Sat, Sun: 530a - 6p

On-call: back up call / and cover holiday 1-2

Performs routine and complex imaging studies, assisting with a variety of imaging procedures. Sets up and adjusts imaging equipment, manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures. Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations. Collects and maintains patient treatment records and data. Conducts pre-treatment and post-treatment patient evaluations to ensure adequate preparation. Maintains supply inventory and restocks to maintain proper operating levels. May be required to maintain quality insurance for ICAEL. Performs other duties as assigned.
