Job summary

AdventHealth Winter Garden is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist on a StaffFlex contract for 13 weeks to perform routine and complex imaging studies in OB/AB and other areas. You will set up equipment, adjust transducers, and ensure patient safety in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in a related field, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completed technical/vocational training. BLS is required before hire, and credentials listed may be needed.

Full-time; Thursday–Saturday: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM

Individually manage high-volume

American Heart Association BLS, required before hire

Performs routine and complex imaging studies, assisting with a variety of imaging procedures. Sets up and adjusts imaging equipment, manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures. Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations. Collects and maintains patient treatment records and data. Conducts pre-treatment and post-treatment patient evaluations to ensure adequate preparation. Maintains supply inventory and restocks to maintain proper operating levels. May be required to maintain quality insurance for ICAEL. Performs other duties as assigned.
