Ultrasound Technologist - Days and Evenings

***$10,000 Sign-On/Retention Bonus for Experienced Techs and $5,000 for New Graduates***

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing ultrasound examinations and communicating clinical findings to radiologists.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • College coursework toward ARDMS Board certification preferred.
  • Prior hands-on clinical ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Board certification required.
  • Breast certification preferred.
  • ARRT (R) and Vermont State Radiologic Technician license a plus.
  • Current healthcare provider BLS certification within 90 days of hire required.

Call Requirements:

  • This position includes on-call responsibilities, with the following scheduled call:
  • Weeknight Call: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, approximately 3-4 nights per month.
  • Weekend Call: Saturday night from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM every 6th weekend.

A formal Call Policy outlines expectations, compensation, and procedures for on-call coverage.
