Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Sonography Technology.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support; registered sonographer or equivalent.
• Must obtain or maintain vascular registry if performing vascular studies.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound / sonography procedures on patients and prepares them for exams.
• Positions patients, selects imaging techniques and ensures image quality.
• Enters and monitors patient data and conducts quality assurance on equipment.
• Takes emergency call and adheres to Memorial Hermann policies and standards.
